KB SPOTLIGHT: RANIA

Every KB Fitness member has a unique story – a personal journey filled with challenges, breakthroughs, and unforgettable moments. For Rania, joining KB Fitness in October last year marked the beginning of a journey that’s already had a profound impact on her life, both physically and emotionally.

Like many who step into the dojo for the first time, Rania wasn’t quite sure what to expect. What she found was a welcome that surprised her in the best way.

“I usually struggle to find my way around things – where to go, what to do – and I’m often left to figure it out or wait until I ask. But as soon as I walked in at KB, someone instantly helped me. I felt really welcomed and comfortable.”

That first impression set the tone for everything that followed. Martial arts training quickly became more than just a weekly activity – it became a cornerstone of her routine, her wellbeing, and her confidence.

“Kickboxing has become one of my favourite activities – if not the favourite. It’s the best way to get energy and get rid of stress. Sometimes I walk in feeling overwhelmed by work or life, and I walk out feeling energised.”

That positive shift extended beyond the training floor. Rania began to notice changes in her health, mood, and even her eating habits. Progress came with time, and so did recognition – earning her White Belt in KB Kickboxing was a significant milestone, with the KB Blue Belt on the horizon.

“Getting the White Belt – and hopefully soon the Blue – is the best way to mark the milestones. It’s also a great way to build confidence. I’m getting better at kickboxing, and I have proof!”

What shines through in Rania’s story is her humility and enthusiasm. She recognises there’s still a long journey ahead, but she’s embracing every step.

“I still have a long way to go until I can be as good at kickboxing as I want to be, but this is a really fun journey for me.”

At KB Fitness, we celebrate every journey – long or short, fast or slow – because every step matters. Rania’s story is a great reminder that growth in martial arts isn’t just about the next belt or the next technique; it’s about who we become along the way.

We’re proud to have Rania as part of the KB family and look forward to seeing her journey continue.
