Last night, we gathered for a KB Zoom Social. KB Fitness has always had a rich social scene running alongside our martial arts training.
From the pub crawls around Soho 20 years ago, to hiring entire pubs for our celebrations, we’ve always loved a social gathering. Consequently, there is no chance that a lockdown is going to get in the way of our love of socialising.
Despite the need for social distancing, our members are closer than ever, united in our quest to remain strong throughout uncertain times.
Gathering online via Zoom is one way to maintain and more than that, strengthen, the KB bond. It provides us with the opportunity to catch up, share a tipple, a tea and plenty of cheer.
The COVID-19 crisis has taken away many things, however it has given us a wonderful gift too – the ability to unite our members throughout the world. Prior to the pandemic, our members were all based in London. Now, through live streaming, we’re able to teach our international members, who are consequently able to feel even more connected to us, through joining the socials. For example, we had members from USA at the virtual social last night.
KB Chief Instructor, Kelly Bunyan, said:
“I love the fact that my school has attracted people from all walks of life, from one generation to the next, we have always brought together an eclectic mix of personalities, all assimilating into a positive melting pot full of joy. The socials are an opportunity for my members, any my teaching team, to learn more about the people they’re training alongside. Always fun and interesting.”
In fact, if you look closely at the image, you’ll see that KB members love to share their pets with one another too. It’s the first time a guinea pig has attended alongside their beloved cats and dogs before!
If you would like to meet new, friendly and welcoming people, join us and become part of the fold.
